Abstract
The increase in applications with high data rates is leading to the development of point to point outdoor communication solutions with high bandwidths at high frequencies. This paper presents the design, manufacturing and radiation pattern test of a high gain parabolic reflector antenna at millimeter frequencies using typical machining techniques. The reflector antenna is focused on 330 GHz communication link test with 70 GHz bandwidth with the goal to set up a 50 Gbit/s data rate link, over 100 m distance.
