Abstract
We have demonstrated high-repetition-rate (1 kHz), broadband (>20 THz), strong THz field generation (>20 MV/cm) via two-color femtosecond laser filamentation in gases. With low pressure argon, we have achieved laser-to-THz conversion efficiency of ∼0.1%.
