Abstract

The author of the work is determined that one of the most pressing problems in the musical performing arts, is the problem of parsing a piece of music and learning it. The process of learning a piece by heart should contain a comprehensive approach. The article describes methods and techniques for successful memorization of musical material. N. Medvedeva proves that the methods and ways of memorizing a music text are closely connected with the disclosure of the composer’s idea, with the structure of the musical form. Relying on such knowledge, the ultimate goal - learning the work in a short time - is achieved. Such meaningful and concentrated work, with a rational use of time, will greatly facilitate the process.
