Abstract

Public transportation for passengers in Malang, called angkot, is one of the means of transportation used by the community to carry out their daily activities, but this transportation is increasingly not in demand by the public due to low levels of service, so that many people use private vehicles. For this reason, planners sometimes need to re-evaluate the performance of city transportation to meet the standard values of the Land Transportation Service. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance and satisfaction of the use of public transportation, the productivity of public transportation, and to make alternative solutions related to the results of performance evaluation and satisfaction of public transport usage. In this study, the assessed public transport and performance. The productivity of the Arjosari - Tidar route public transport is 51 pnp / day -vehicle. Based on the results of the evaluation, the alternative solution given is to improve service performance by repairing services that are not in accordance with the service standards of the Land Transportation Service, as well as supported by service standards, especially city transportation services.
