UVC Irradiators for Sterilization of Recirculated Air in Workrooms

Abstract

The report discusses an energy efficient method and devices to improve the efficiency of ventilation systems in workplaces. By adding UVC-irradiators the pathogenic microorganisms in the recirculated air are destroyed with minimal addition of fresh air. In combination with recuperators, the efficiency of ventilation systems is significantly increased.
