Abstract

This paper presents a reliability evaluation method of distribution network, which is based on the digital twin and hologram technology. The conventional method, which is based on the power outage information of distribution stations, just realizes the ex-post evaluation. However, the application of digital twin technology can not only archive real-time computing but also accurately forecast the reliability of a distribution network. In this paper, a successful application case is illustrated, which proves the feasibility of the application of digital twin technology in power grid.
