Selected aspects of the electric energy supply security assessment - case study Poland

Abstract

In this paper, analysis and assessment of Polish electric power infrastructure in area of generation in aspect of electric energy security is shown. This paper shows profile of generation sector in Poland and determines present and future situation in a range of its operation in frames of National Electric Power System in the context of security of electric energy supply. Moreover, threats of electric energy supply security in Poland are defined and catalogue of essential actions for assurance of electric energy supply security is proposed.
