Proceedings of the 33rd European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics

Abstract

Researchers and practitioners from the domains of cognitive ergonomics, human technology interaction and cognitive engineering have come together to contribute to this 30th European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics, ECCE 2012. This year's theme is Re-thinking cognition. Cognition is no longer viewed as being merely 'rules and representations' but is now seen to be embodied, embedded, extended and enactive. In the papers collected here we see how these new treatments have shaped, and sometimes even overturned, established thinking and practice.
