On Vincent d'Indy's Original Analysis of His Symphonic Works: Regarding the Problem of the French Terminology

Abstract

В связи с изучением французской терминологической традиции встает проблема рецепции авторской терминологии, показывающей специфику композиторского и теоретического мышления. Эта специфика демонстрируется на примере терминологического аппарата Венсана д’Энди и авторского анализа его «Симфонии на тему песни французского горца». В статье приводятся оригинальные определения базовых понятий в сфере формообразования. The research in the field of the French terminological tradition rises the question of reception of the authentic terminology which shows the specifics of composer’s and theorist’s thinking. This specifics is demonstrated in terms of the terminological apparatus of Vincent d’Indy and his own analysis of the “Symphonie sur un chant montagnard français”. The article considers the original definitions of the basic concepts in the sphere of form building.
