This study is based on the results of a series of experiments conducted using a software and hardware complex for fixing oculomotor activity - an eye tracker, which allows obtaining objective parametric data of a template for viewing stimulus material. The technique described in the article is an addition to the experimental study using the eytracking technology. The results of the experiment should be used in the development of textbooks on color correction, as well as in the design of control interface elements. The methodology is programmatically implemented and tested in the local network of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Abstract
