Abstract

We present a system for rendering free viewpoint video from data acquired by one or more stereo camera pairs in advance. The free viewpoint video can be observed standalone or shown embedded in a synthetic computer graphics scene. Compared to state-of-the art free viewpoint video applications less cameras are required.
