Additional Multimedial Screen for Control of a Hbbtv Application with the use of Android Operating System

Abstract

This paper presents a realization of a multimedial screen intended for control of a HbbTV application using the Android operating system. This work was implemented by expanding the existing SDTV-Arago STB platform's software stack. This work also relies on extending the existing VoD and user Android application. Goal of this work is to give user the full control of a VoD application which runs on a digital receiver as well as to get feedback information about the selected content.
