What's a TIF, anyway? Why should TPS developers flock to it? What's the big deal?

Abstract

This paper shares the capabilities, functionality and lessons learned in using a Test Integration Facility (TIF) for test program set (TPS) development. The TIF is of interest to all parties associated with automatic test equipment (ATE) TPS development in general and in particular, CASS TPS developers. This paper will explain the concept of a TIF and the advantages and rewards in using it. It will also validate the TIF concept and provide a solid response to the question "What's the big deal?".
