Strategies in multi-agent systems

Abstract

This paper addresses the interaction of agents in a multi-agent system with their environment and with each other. The central notion is that of a strategy. We consider how this notion is handled by game theory, especially evolutionary game theory, and how some of the issues that arise are handled by deontic logic.
