Abstract

This paper presents analysis of failure of the selected group of vehicles and costs related to the performed repairs. The paper is a part of studies, conducted by authors, estimating limit vehicle failure enabling its economically efficient use. The article is limited to the presentation of damage to selected functional systems of vehicles. Distributions of moments of failures and share of repair costs of the selected system in the total costs related to vehicle use have been presented. Affirmed, that the largest costs of maintenance generate the damage the elements of the driving arrangement, the brakes and the exchange of tyres.
