Abstract
The types of sixty-two species in the scelionid genera 'Idris' Forster, 'Ceratobaeus' Ashmead, 'Odontacolus' Kieffer, 'Hickmaniella' Austin-(Idrini); 'Baeus' Haliday, 'Mirobaeoides' Dodd-(Baeini) and 'Mirobaeus' Dodd-(Embidobiini), are listed together with corrections for the first time. Examination of these types has resulted in the sinking of three genera and twenty-eight new combinations. 'Ceratobaeoides' Dodd is synonymized with 'Odontacolus' Kieffer, 'Dissacolus' Kieffer is synonymized with 'Idris' Forster and 'Notoscelio' Hickman is synonymized with 'Mirobaeoides' Dodd. The location, references and condition (where important) are given for each type, and the relationships and biology of the group are discussed.
