GSM Based Power Plant Synchronization Failure, Detection and Prevention

Abstract

With fast ongoing developments in PV Solar Panels connected to grid, there are no proper standard architecture available for monitoring and protection. Advancements in small scale power systems have resulted in dire need for proper monitoring and prevention of various internal or synchronization faults. This paper presents a GSM based architecture enabling proper monitoring and protection of small-scale power systems including PV-grid connected systems.
