Wind energy resources in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region

Abstract

Wind energy characteristics of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region are investigated: duration and repetition of active and inactive speeds. Regionalization of the region in terms of energy resources has been carried out. It is determined that the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region is characterized by a wide range of wind energy resources. Here there are conditions that are profitable not only for the normal operation of low-speed wind turbines, but also for the efficient use of any type of wind power plant.
