Abstract

One important task in marine research is the investigation of processes of particle exchange and transport using filtration sampler, bottom water sampler sediment traps or other equipment. In this paper, we describe modular hardware solution (microcontroller, flash-memory, analog-to-digital converter, system interface) together with a user-friendly software which is suitable for event-referred control of systems, which have to work autonomously for longer periods.
