Abstract
The paper deals with light seen as a factor affecting human life comfort and health. The relative new concept defined as blue light related to artificial light was rapidly included in usual devices like phones, tablets, laptops and computer monitors or TV-sets as a selectable hardware option. A more important aspect is that of light fluctuations of the above mentioned screens due to what we are watching daily: movies, video games, commercials. Correlated with their high performance in technology, luminance, contrast, colours, resolution and dimensions, assimilating these screens with light sources is realistic. The light fluctuations or flicker or stroboscopic phenomenon can affect humans especially those with neural diseases but also normal people, mostly teenagers so dependent of modern gadgets. The paper is focusing on this last aspect presenting some research results following systematic measurements and records.
