Abstract
Emitter localization via triangulation is a common task for spectrum management, and it is typically realized by angle-of-arrival (AoA) estimation with correlative interferometers installed within fixed or mobile monitoring stations. The AoA estimation technique is addressed and a modulation-specific algorithm is proposed. Simulation results show that, for a specific set of modulation types, namely the ones which are noncircular, both the accuracy of AoA estimation and that of localization are improved.
