A Structural Analysis of a Small Arch Viaduct

Abstract

The article concerns an assessment of the carrying capacity of the viaduct built ca. in 1908 over the former railway line connecting Samborowo and Turza Wielka, in Dąbrówno in the province of Warmia and Mazury in north-eastern Poland. The analysis was proceeded by the measurements of the geometry of the structure and the assessment of the properties of the materials used in the construction of the object. In order to project the geometry of the analysed object more precisely, the method of terrestrial 3D laser scanning was applied.
