The new born DVB standard, called DVB-SH, (Digital Video Broadcast to Satellite Handheld) and allowing for hybrid (terrestrial and satellite) mobile TV reception, has been tested though various trials, including terrestrial only reception, satellite only reception and hybrid reception.
