Arte, experiencia, educación y palabras prisioneras: érase una vez una pedagogía penitenciaria con alas

Abstract

PEDACRI-ULL participates since 2020 in the Erasmus+ 2020-1-IT02-KA204-079355 project “The Chrysalis and the Butterfly: Autobiographical paths of penitentiary pedagogy” together with penitentiary institutions from seven European countries. The aim is to create a space for reflection on specific themes that enable inmates to redefine their lives during and after their imprisonment. Connecting with other penitentiary institutions means putting our autobiographical strategy into practice in the European context. Promoting research in the field of prison education and creating a network for the exchange of narrative experiences leading to a handbook of good practices that emphasises the human dimension of social reintegration. We are referring to an inclusive and preventive critical penitentiary pedagogy.
