TWT with combined symmetric E/sub 01/+T- wave of coaxial corrugated waveguide

Abstract

On the basis of the general theory of excitation of an irregular coaxial goffered waveguide the mathematical model is created and the program for optimization of parameters of TWT-O with azimuthal symmetric combined ?/sub 01/+? - wave is developed. Executed calculations indicate to perspectivity of such TWT. It is shown, that for regular corrugation efficiency of 50% is reached at /spl szlig//sub 0/=0.8 (V/sub 0/=345 ?V), I/sub 0/=310 A.
