First, we review the development of IoT architecture and propose an intent-driven IoT architecture. We then analyze the key technologies involved in the architecture and provide a list of typical intent-driven IoT platforms from industry and academia. Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) aims to connect everything. However, with the emergence of large-scale heterogeneous devices, the complexity of network configuration and management becomes increasingly prominent, and it becomes more and more urgent for infrastructure to automatically and adaptively update the configuration according to the business requirements. Intent-driven Network (IDN) has the advantages of user friendliness, fine-grained policy mapping and closed-loop verification.
