Abstract

In this paper, we present Socol satellite communication system (SCS), using Potok geostationary satellite transponder. The features of this efficiency system are described. The present state of Socol SCS allows extensive practical applications of the high quality of this system Russian Central Bank is the main user of Sokol SCS (Sokol-Bankir subsystem). The small satellite terminals (SST) are located over all Russia. At the present time Sokol-Bankir SCS has about 60 SST.
