Recursos de información y estudios de género: una experiencia de trabajo incluyente

Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the document increase on Gender Studies emanated from academic institutions and groups of specialists that seek to address an emerging social problem. The specialized publications on this subject fed the collections of the libraries of higher education institutions and libraries were created in independent organizations. From the necessity to organize, the texts produced either in small libraries or as part of university libraries, networks of information units specialized in the subject were built with the aim of making the issues raised from gender studies available in their catalogs.
