Abstract

Recently, mobile nodes (smartphones) used by many users have both cellular (4G/LTE) and short range ad hoc (wifi) connections. A mobile node can connect with the cellular network by the cellular connection and communicate with a distant mobile node, while it can configure a multi-hop network (mobile ad hoc network) and communicate with nearby nodes by the short range ad hoc connection.
