For information dissemination, if all the messages are disseminated by cellular networks in any types of applications and services, the cellular base stations incur heavy overload. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an information dissemination scheme using mobile agents in heterogeneous wireless network which combines a cellular network and a mobile ad hoc network. At first, the proposed scheme disseminates data messages with lower number of cellular base stations to some specified mobile nodes in the cellular network.
