However, adropin and irisin in the pathogenesis of AMI, depending on the presence of type 2 DM, are currently insufficiently studied. Adropin and irisin have an effect on carbohydrate, lipid homeostasis associated with type 2 DM [3]. The study examined 90 patients with AMI, depending on the presence of concomitant type 2 DM, who were treated at the State Institution «National Institute of Therapy named after L.T. Malaya National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» and in the Kharkiv Clinical Hospital on railway transport №1. Adropin and irisin were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using a set of reagents «Human Adropin», «Human Fibronectin type III domain-containing protein 5 (FNDC5)» (Elabscience, USA) according to the specified instruction.
