Abstract
With the release and implementation of special treatment policy, self-generation power plants in China have been well regulated and managed. And the resources comprehensive utilization self-generation power plants are encouraged by policy. Meanwhile, the new electricity market reform liberalizes self-generation power plants to take part in electricity market trading under the condition of undertaking social responsibility fairly, which has expanded the development space of self-generation power plants to some extent In this paper, two kinds of evolution modes of self-generation power plants under the new situations are introduced, including selfpowered mode and outside-delivered mode. Based on the evolution modes, a competitiveness analysis model of resources comprehensive utilization power plant is proposed. And the quantification study aimed at competitiveness of selfgeneration power plants are also analyzed at the same time. In addition, the influence of the development of power plants on electricity market competition pattern is also analyzed. Finally, the results of case analysis indicate that there will be obvious competitive advantages for enterprises to build resources comprehensive utilization self-generation power plants either or both in self-powered mode and outside-delivered mode. And it is possible to change the electricity market competition pattern to some extent as well as to make a tremendous effect on electricity selling business of power grid enterprises.
