Abstract

This paper presents indoor propagation measurements for a radiating cable in the UHF band, from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz, in order to analyse the behaviour of such device for the integration of various wireless technologies. The measurements showed a different behaviour in the received power in contrast with a particular propagation model of radiating cables, which was reported in the literature. The measured coupling losses were obtained for all frequencies and contrasted against the specifications given by radiating cable manufacturers.
