Performance Evaluation for DTMB Receiver under VHF and UHF Bands

Abstract

For DTMB standard, 9 selected performances of the receivers by laboratory tests are evaluated in this paper, while the comparison tests of DTMB receiver under very high frequency (VHF) and ultra high frequency (UHF) bands are also completed. The test results show that most of the performances of DTMB receiver are basically the same under the two bands, but some performances are significantly different. This paper investigates the trend of performance with frequency and the reason for related phenomena as well.
