Abstract

In this paper, we provide radio plan performance optimization of the high speed mobile networks that carry multimedia traffic. We showed that knowing the uplink coverage one can accurately balance the service area in downlink and uplink in the radio network. Also, it was shown that the choice of optimal antenna beam width and tilt is important for better performances. Thus, the interference may be controlled and the capacity and coverage may be balanced and improved.
