It comprises of a symmetric U-slot w.r.t rectangular patch. The working principle, and design procedure are extensively described in this paper. The results are shows that the u slot antenna provides a band from 3.5GHz to 3.7GHz which is capable to achieve minimum voltage with good bandwidth and radiation properties. Abstract
