It also achieves a lowest confinement loss of 6.33×10−3 dB/m at 1520 nm by covering a range of 200 nm within which loss remains < 1 dB/m. Moreover, the presented fiber claims very low bending loss of 9.06×10−3 dB/m at a short bend radius (6 cm) and maintains a bending loss of < 0.01 dB/m from 4 cm bend radius to onwards. Abstract

In this paper, a proposal on highly birefringent and low losses hollow core antiresonant fiber is presented and analyzed, capable of exhibiting better performances than the recent related achievements.
