Abstract

This work presents performance evaluation results for four 2×2 multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) prototype antenna configurations with different antenna element spacings and polarization properties. The prototypes are based on a size optimized planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) element which applies a meander structure etched on the metallic patch.
