Abstract

Kalimukti is a small village located in Pabedilan District, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province. The field observations show that although many people have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, public awareness of the Covid-19 virus transmission is still low; many people do direct contact (i.e., make a little crowd) without masks and not keeping the distance. For this reason, a program is needed to prevent the possibility of a new Covid-19 cluster in the RT/ RW 01/04 environment. The program held is public education and distribution of healthy milk, which is made from a mixture of UHT milk, jelly, spices, and honey. Implementing the program is offline by Door-to-door option to several houses and visits the crowds of people directly. The first phase of the program was carried out on November 28, 2020, with Covid-19 education activities and distributing 25 cups of healthy milk. On December 5, 2020, the second phase was held to distribute health masks accompanied by public education and spraying artificial disinfectants in the neighborhoods where residents live. Educational materials include the importance of maintaining health and raising public awareness in implementing government-directed health protocols. The results of this program show that the people of Kalimukti village respond well; they feel happy and have the awareness always to maintain their health and be ready to face the Covid-19 pandemic. This program is running well because the community hope that the pandemic must be quickly passed as soon as possible.
