A Method to Prevent and Control the Interruption Exception of Sampling in Merging Unit

Abstract

As the sampling interruption is the heartbeat of merging unit, its stability is directly related to the accuracy and discreteness of the output SV packets of merging unit. To prevent the output error from merging unit when its sampling interruption is abnormal, this paper proposes crystal frequency monitoring technology, sampling interruption monitoring technology and SV packets timing monitoring technology, forming the prevention and control system of sampling interruption exception of merging unit. The merging unit developed by above technology has the function of early warning and processing for the occasional sampling interruption exception, which improves the reliability of intelligent substation operation.
