The Policy Strategy of Utilization Coastal Area Resource In South Bangka Regency

Abstract

Coastal area resources that open access regime cause problem in its utilization, not least in South Bangka Regency. The aim of this research is to formulate alternative policy of coastal resource utilization between local fishermen and migrant fishermen. The method in this research is survey method. The results of the research, several policy alternatives include: developing marine tourism, improving fishing technology, developing Sadai industrial estates, and increasing the number of fisheries extension workers.
