Abstract

The technique to process the temperature data obtained in the COSMIC experiment is presented. The results obtained on the basis of COSMIC sounding data and reanalyses of ERA5 and MERRA-2 have been compared for the amplitudes of waves traveling westward with zonal wave numbers 1 and 2, as well as for diurnal and semidiurnal tides.
