Technology transfer to and from the industrial sector

Abstract

A discussion is given on technology transfer of software engineering expertise to and from the industrial sector. The following areas are summarized: communication needs; strategic alliances; three stage model; funding; personnel exchange; artificial barriers; transfusion through graduates; and diffusion models.
