Abstract

The rapid development of technology has driven the technology application in various sectors, including the application of Knowledge Management System (KMS). At the Maintenance Department of the XYZ Corporation, an aircraft manufacturing company in Indonesia, there is a potential of the tacit knowledge and experience of maintenance activity cannot be retained by the company when the employees enter retirement. Besides, the company did not have the system to manage tacit knowledge of the maintenance activity to enhance the performance of its employees. The purpose of this research is to design the KMS of the planning & control module to complement the KMS of maintenance activity that previously designed for the XYZ Corporation. The development of the KMS based on the waterfall method. The design of KMS features developed by using the KM Cycle.
