Two factors found that could decreasing the performances of distributed Raman amplifier are amplified spontaneous scattering (ASS) and Rayleigh backscattering effects. Abstract

On this preliminary work we employ distributed raman amplifier with pumping schemes are forward- & backward pumping on SMF.
