The algorithm runs in linear time in the number of contour points without knowing the number of axes of skewed symmetry in advance. The experimental results show that the method we propose is reliable, accurate and quick. Abstract
Symmetry is one of apparent features of objects in both the man-made world and nature. In computer vision, finding axes of skewed symmetry is an important task.
