Abstract

Vegetation on the Earth’s surface affects the use of military technology, but also on the process of planning and managing operations. Each type of vegetation affects the use of military technology and the decision-making process of the commanders in another way. One of the most important types of vegetation for the analysis of passability are forests that cover large parts of the territory (for the Czech Republic about 33%).
