Classic researches are mostly based on infectious disease model, without considering the characteristics of the users in the network itself. Based on the theory of combustion, this paper proposes a new network rumor propagation model CRP Model (Combustion-inspired Rumor Propagation Model) to explore the propagation rule of rumor among users. The model is based on three combustion elements to simulate the process of network rumor propagation including combustible material, combustion improver and ignition temperature. The rumor propagation in social networks has great harmfulness.
