Abstract
In this paper, we have developed a model for Erbium doped seven-core fiber amplifier for Space Division Multiplexing Systems. Firstly by extrapolating the hypothesis proposed by Abedin et al., we will model the multicore fiber amplifier developed by our simulator, and we could then compare them to those observed experimentally and predicted with the simulator of other team of research. Secondly, based on the results obtained, we are going to model our multicore fiber amplifier. A peak gain about 41.6 dB at 1560 nm is obtained with a large band of the input signals over 60 nm was also obtained. The gain is higher than 20 dB for all amplified signals in each core with a noise low than 5dB.
