PERAN PERAWAT DALAM MEMBERIKAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN TERHADAP KESEMBUHAN LUKA GANGREN DI RSUD KOTA MATARAM

Abstract

Introduction: The contemporary nurse do the various role of care giver, making clinical decision and ethics, protecting and advocating for clients, case managers, rehabilitating, comfort makers, communicators and educators. Gangrene is a process of injury or marked by the presence of dead tissue or necrosis, but microbiologically is the process of necrosis caused by infection. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine thr relationship of the role of nurses in providing nursing care for patients with healing of gangren injuries. Method: This study is a type of analytical research, with a cross sectional design. Results: The results showed a comparison between the role of nurses in providing nursing care for patients with gangrenous wounds obtained by the coefficient r = 0.569 with significance or p = 0.009. Conclusion: . Conclusions from the study prove that there is a positive relationship between the role of nurses and gangrenous wounds, where the role of nurses is related to the healing process of gangrenous wounds.
