Dominance et amplification des influences dans les structures linéaires

Abstract

In a structure of production and exchange or in any network where flows pass from pole to pole, external shocks are diffused by arcs and direct paths and successively affect the activity of these poles. The final impact is identical to the sum of a convergent series because adjacent loops and circuits are indefinitely but decreasingly amplifying the direct influence carried on by the paths. One of the most unexpected results of the paper is that it’s much easier to calculate the amplifier linked to a path by removing all its adjacent circuits in the structure : mischief of linearity ! A comparative study (1980-2004) concerning amplifiers of the main trade dominance relationships reveals discontinuities and major transformations at the turn of the century, worldwide on the one hand, and for African countries on the other hand.
